Children's Naturopath Central Coast
Holistic support for children's health, behaviour, immunity and development
I take a personalised, evidence-informed approach to children's health. Rather than simply managing symptoms, I work to understand the underlying factors contributing to your child's health so we can develop a practical plan that supports their growth, development and long-term wellbeing.
Located on the Central Coast, I work with babies, children and pre-teens from birth through to 12 years of age.
Finding the right support for your child's health can feel overwhelming, especially when navigating ongoing concerns like ADHD, autism, eczema, allergies, chronic gut issues or frequent illnesses.
Hi, I’m Monet Goode.
My Approach
Every child is unique, which is why I take the time to understand the full picture rather than focusing on symptoms in isolation. During your consultation, we'll explore your child's health history, pregnancy and birth history, development, nutrition, sleep, behaviour, gut health, environmental factors and family history to identify the factors that may be influencing their wellbeing.
Understanding the Whole Child
Every recommendation is tailored to your child's age, medical history and individual needs. Treatment may include nutrition and dietary advice, lifestyle strategies, practitioner-only nutritional supplements, herbal medicine and functional or pathology testing where clinically appropriate. Testing is only recommended when it is likely to provide meaningful information and always considers your family's goals and budget.
Individualised Care
Rather than simply managing symptoms, my approach focuses on understanding the potential underlying contributors to your child's health concerns. Whether your child is experiencing ADHD, autism, digestive issues, eczema, allergies, recurrent infections or mood-related challenges, we'll develop an individualised plan using evidence-informed nutrition, lifestyle strategies, practitioner-only supplements, herbal medicine and functional testing where appropriate.
Identifying Underlying Drivers
Naturopathic care works best as part of a collaborative approach. I regularly work alongside GPs, paediatricians, psychologists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists and other allied health professionals to ensure your child receives well-rounded, coordinated care. My aim is to complement conventional medicine while helping your family better understand and support your child's health.
Collaborative Healthcare
Children’s Services
Each consultation involves looking at the bigger picture, including your child's health history, nutrition, sleep, development, lifestyle, environmental factors and previous testing. Together, we'll identify potential contributing factors and create a practical, individualised plan to support your child's health journey.
-
Children experiencing ADHD, autism, attention difficulties, sensory challenges or behavioural concerns may benefit from a personalised approach that considers nutrition, gut health, sleep, nervous system regulation and overall wellbeing. Consultations explore potential contributing factors and provide tailored recommendations to support your child's development, focus, emotional regulation and daily function.
-
Every child on the autism spectrum has unique needs. Naturopathic care may support areas such as digestive health, nutritional status, selective eating, sleep, immune function and nervous system regulation. Recommendations are individualised and designed to complement your child's existing healthcare and developmental support.
-
PANS and PANDAS presentations can involve complex interactions between immune function, inflammation, neurological symptoms and behaviour. A comprehensive assessment may explore your child's health history, infections, gut health, nutrition and environmental factors to support a personalised care plan alongside appropriate medical management.
-
Digestive issues are common in children and may present as constipation, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, bloating, reflux, food sensitivities or changes in appetite and behaviour. Children's naturopathic consultations explore gut health, dietary patterns, microbiome support, nutrient status and lifestyle factors to help develop a targeted plan.
-
Children experiencing allergies, intolerances or suspected food sensitivities may benefit from a thorough assessment of their diet, gut health, immune function and nutritional status. Support focuses on identifying contributing factors while ensuring children continue to receive adequate nutrition for growth and development.
-
Chronic skin concerns often involve multiple factors, including immune regulation, gut health, nutrient status and environmental triggers. A personalised approach may help identify potential contributors while supporting healthy skin through nutrition, lifestyle changes and targeted naturopathic recommendations.
-
Frequent colds, ear infections, tonsillitis or ongoing immune challenges can be frustrating for families. Consultations assess factors that may influence immune resilience, including nutrition, gut health, sleep, stress and lifestyle, with personalised strategies to support your child's natural defences.
-
Children exposed to mould may experience a range of ongoing symptoms, including fatigue, immune concerns, cognitive changes, skin issues or digestive complaints. Consultations focus on understanding your child's individual health history and supporting overall resilience through nutrition, lifestyle and targeted recommendations where appropriate.
-
Children's emotional wellbeing is influenced by many factors, including nutrition, sleep, gut health, stress and nervous system regulation. Naturopathic care may provide supportive strategies to help families better understand and support their child's mood, resilience and overall wellbeing.
